Training on Climate Change Adaptation Held in Rangpur
A two-day training course on climate change adaptation held in Rangpur, Bangladesh during 11-12 June 2013. The training was organised by AZEECON (Asian Zone Environment and Emergency Cooperation). RDRS Bangladesh hosted the event.
A total of 15 participants from AZEECON country programme Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Myanmar and Nepal took part in the training course. Discussions were held mainly on overview of the impacts of climate change; and innovation and best practices on climate change adaptation. Participants also visited RDRS’ field activities on climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction.

inaugurated the training event. A.K.M. Mamunur Rashid, Director of Development Frontiers and Dr M.G. Neogi, Consultant of International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) facilitated the training.
