| According to the new
strategy, emphasis will be placed on partnership.
In the past, RDRS often functioned in isolation
but it now realises that, to make programmes
work efficiently, it needs partners. To
ensure the people themselves feel a sense
of ownership, therefore, RDRS will establish
and encourage implementing partners within
the villages. These will be community-based
organisations such as the RDRS Federations.
By concentrating upon strengthening the
Federations, RDRS hopes to move from direct
to indirect implementation of its priorities,
plans and projects. |
