RDRS Bangladesh has won the European Microfinance Runner-up Award 2006, announced in Luxemburg on 30 November. Zakoura Micro-credit of Morocco has won the first prize. A total of 43 programmes across the world applied for the award which is instituted by the European Microfinance Platform. RDRS Finance Director, Tapan Kumar Karmaker received the award on behalf of RDRS Bangladesh.
