Progress in agriculture in the villages
is dependent on collaboration between
all the actors, and a pilot project run
along these lines was set up in its working
area. This has shown early success, to
the extent that the agriculture colleges
are now emphasizing practical research
and student exchange with agencies like
RDRS in their teaching.
Examples of exchange of technological
resources in agriculture include the introduction
of Poshu Pushti (cattlefeed) from India,
use of low-cost grain storage facilities
developed abroad and the continuing experimentation
of biogas plants for power generatio.
